Run North West has announced an exciting new event for its portfolio and it is one that is sure to fly. Scheduled for Sunday 19 January, the Alderley Park 5 Mile Trail Run will take place in the 400 acres of private historic parkland at Alderley Park near Alderley Edge.
The race is a 2-lap course over 5 miles within the hidden grounds of the park, taking in the impressive lake, the working farm and the beauty of the grounds. It is said to offer an opportunity to discover the hidden trails and woodland paths, home to a rare arboretum, parkland, lakes and water garden.
Just 500 places have been made available for this first Alderley Park 5 Mile Trail Run and, of Run North West’s events are anything to go by, this will surely be a sell out. Entry is £12 which includes an exclusive commemorative finisher technical running T-shirt and a contribution to the Bruntwood charitable fund.
The trail run is the latest addition to the Run North West calendar, which includes, among others, this weekend’s Southport Seaside 10K, Wilmslow 10K, Trafford 10K and Alderley Edge 10K. Further information on their events is available here.
