After the success of last year's inaugural event, the Rock 'n' Roll Nice 10 Miles du Carnaval returns to the south of France next month. Part of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon series, the race on 16 February combines running, music and fancy dress with live bands playing along the 16.1k course.
The event is the first Rock 'n' Roll event to be held in France and will feature a concert at the finish line at Place Massena. The route is flat and fast, travelling along the famous Promenade des Anglais, with a half turn at the Nice Côte D'Azur Airport before ending with a passage through the harbour and a festival arrival in the heart of Nice, the Place Massena. Carnival entertainment throughout the course will keep runners moving (and grooving) all the way to the finish line.
As well as race medals, there will also be costume contest prizes in the following categories: Most Rock 'n Roll, Most Creative/Unique, Best Group, Best Couple and, of course, Most Carnival!
