Run, race or jog - you can do it all at Port Sunlight on Sunday 16 June
Location, location, location! Port Sunlight is the sensational summer backdrop for a big family day out at an event that includes 10K, 5K and 1 mile fun run.
Port Sunlight is the historical home of William Hesketh Lever who created this stunning village as a homestead for his factory workers at the original soap works back in 1888. Now the business is known as Unilever and the global giant retains a presence in the village which is still as picturesque as ever.
The 5K race is a full lap of the village. It starts at 10.00am, taking in all the quaint residential streets. The 10K follows at 11.00am and is over two laps.
Last year nearly 200 people took up the discounted dual race entry option and took part in both 5K and 10K races - well the medals and T-shirts are really good! So plenty of options for everyone.
The start and finish is on the village green just across from the Lady Lever Art Gallery and the Port Sunlight Museum - perfect for a family day out.
And to keep the children involved there is a 1K fun run at the conclusion of the 10K.
