Sunday 29 September sees the return of the ever-popular Redcar Running Festival and runners from across the region and beyond are invited to what will be a true festival of running.

With the Redcar Half Marathon & Wheelchair Race, Zetland 10K, Beacon 5K and Everyone Active 2K Fun Run, there’s something for everyone with runners from all age groups and abilities expected.

Those who took part last year and are doing so again will undoubtedly be looking to improve on their 2018 times. However, the event is about more than just the elite runners. It’s all about bringing the town and wider community together to promote health and wellbeing.

The Festival, organised by Everyone Active and New Marske Harriers on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, has been a fixture on the North East’s running calendar for more than 35 years and it presents the perfect opportunity for a fun-filled family day.

So what are you waiting for? Make sure that you’re part of the 2019 Redcar Running Festival by signing up today.
