Bradford's festive 5K fun run
On Sunday 8 December, the Epilepsy Action Reindeer Stampede is bringing in the festive season with its annual 5K family fun run. With a shorter 400m run for under 8’s, it’s a great way to kick off the festive season and get the whole family running together.
Taking place in the iconic Lister Park near central Bradford, every runner receives a pair of antlers as well as a reindeer-themed medal and a mince pie when they cross the finish line.
Runners are also cheered on by jolly jingling marshals and entertained on route by a Christmas choir and brass band, creating a fantastic festive atmosphere.
“We had great fun…it was brilliant and we were really happy to be part of it”
Organised by the same people who bring you the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10K, all of the money raised goes towards helping more people to live a happier and healthier life with epilepsy.
100% of runners surveyed said they enjoyed taking part and would do so again.
