With just weeks to go before this year’s Williams BMW Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run, organisers are reminding participants to enter online and sign up before the deadline of midnight on 30 September.

It’s a traffic free course for all three distances and all participants will receive a medal, with half marathon and 10K runners receiving a technical T-shirt, together with a new for 2018 black nickel medal on completion.

The routes will show Rochdale in its best light, taking in the town and some of the borough’s best countryside scenes including the Grade 1 listed town hall where all races start, the Esplanade, the iconic Rochdale Canal, Hollingworth Lake and beautiful Broadfield Park.

Rochdale Borough councillor Janet Emsley, said: “The countdown is really on for Williams BMW Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run. There's always a last minute rush as the deadline approaches and with online entry ending on 30 September a week before the event we’re encouraging anyone who is thinking about signing up to do so now.”
