Run England has announced a series of new 3-2-1 routes across Manchester as a further incentive to get more people in the city active. The launch of which now means the project has 200 routes across England including in 15 parks in Manchester.
The most recent route has been marked out in Chorlton Park, a picturesque location popular with the local community and a favourite for local runners. Run England Group and recently affiliated England Athletics Club Chorlton Runners regularly use the park for their runs and now make use of the new routes to give their sessions an added dimension.
Liam Browne, the Activator for Manchester said: “It’s great to finally have the new 3-2-1 routes within Chorlton Water Park – as well as all the other venues across Manchester. The new routes will hopefully inspire people to give running a go!”
As well as the new Manchester routes, there have been new routes set up in Bournemouth, Cambridge, Hull and a number of routes across Somerset and Gloucestershire.
All the 3-2-1 routes can be found at the Run England website.
