Following the successful launch of The Running Awards earlier this year, plans are taking shape for a bigger 'bash' in 2015.  Organisers have announced indigo at the O2 as the venue for the awards ceremony and gala dinner with the date confirmed as Friday 24 April.

The Running Awards 2015 will recognise and celebrate the best of running and its culture looking to the running community to vote  for their favourite products, brands, publications, sports retailers and events. The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the O2 gala occasion.

The organisers are promising a ‘big and bold’ awards ceremony and gala dinner, with indigo at the O2 offering capacity for both VIP guests and runners to be part of the evening, making it all-inclusive and giving everyone the opportunity to get involved in the awards celebrations.

Paul Corrick, director of Reality Ltd and co-founder of The Running Awards commented: “We are very excited to announce indigo as the host venue. The lighting and sound there are amazing and the venue is easily accessible, guests can even arrive by cable car from the Virgin Money London Marathon Exhibition. We're planning for 500 VIP guests for dinner and a further 700 runners to join us afterwards for the awards and entertainment.

Categories open for voting so far include Accessories, Men’s and Women’s Clothing, Men’s and Women’s Shoes, Retailers, Running Events and Favourite Charity. New categories are launched weekly, and runners can have input and request for additional nominations to be added until December. Voting is free, quick and very simple, the only details required are a name and email address.

The Running Awards is organised by Reality Ltd who specialise in designing, staging and producing a wide variety of live events across a diverse range of industries, from awards and conferences to music and red carpet events.
