In the lead up to the first ever Asda Foundation Sheffield 10K on Sunday 30 October, organisers have confirmed a number of training runs on the eve of the race. These have been devised through a partnership with Accelerate, working with Sheffield’s Outdoor City, and will allow runners the chance to tackle three different distances.
All of the runs will be led by an England Athletics qualified Run Leader and have been designed to cater for beginners and experienced runners alike. There is no need to pre-register for the training runs, all of which will start at 1pm at your chosen location.
These include: a 3k loop that will take in both Ponderosa and Crookes Valley Park; a 2.5k loop or 4k loop through Concord & Wooley Woods; or a 4k loop and introduction to the Woodrun through Eccelsall Woods.
