With three weeks to go (Sunday 19 May) organisers are expecting a 30% plus increase in numbers at the Port Sunlight 10/5K. The event was launched last year and was an immediate success voted second best 10K event in the Runner's World Races of The Year poll.
The big attraction is the location; Port Sunlight is a historic model community built by the altruistic Lever Brothers in the 19th century and today is a stunningly attractive village within easy reach of runners across Merseyside.
For 2013 the Port Sunlight event has joined the btrLiverpool stable of races and participants can expect the usual high quality race experience associated with btr. Also runners are guaranteed plenty of support from start to finish on a flat and fast two-lap course.
Entries have been increased this year with limits of 1,500 in the 10k and 500 in the 5k however organisers anticipate a late rush so enter soon at the btrLiverpool website to guarantee your place.
