Sunday 26 April sees the return of the ever-popular Stockton Duathlon Festival for 2020. This year’s event boasts three completely separate races that organisers rightly claim to be suitable for the complete beginner right through to prospective world champions!
There’s the Super Sprint Race with a 2k run, 5k bike and 1k run, the Sprint Race with a 5k run, 20k bike and 2.5k run and the Standard Race with a 10k run, 40k bike and 2.5k run.
The Super Sprint Race is perfect for first timers who want to give the duathlon a try, the Sprint Race doubles as a World Championships qualification race and the Standard Race is a Triathlon England National Championship and European Championship qualifier.
The multi-lap nature of the bike route means that spectators can see the bikes up to four times per lap so it’s all very spectator friendly. There is a full event site with trade stands as well as a range of on site refreshments. Great to bring family and friends along.
All entrants will have access to free downloadable high resolution souvenir photographs and there will be a comprehensive goody bag including finishers medal and T-shirt.
