Adidas has launched a limited edition run of exclusive trainers to support British athletes in training for the London 2012 and Paralympic Games. All of the proceeds of the 250 trainers on sale will go to Team 2012, the official fundraising programme for over 1,200 British athletes.
Uniquely designed with GB colours and Team 2012 branding, the adiPURE performance trainers come individually numbered. With the aim of raising £25 million overall, the funds will be invested in key areas including coaching, medical support, nutrition advice, sports psychology and equipment.
Louis Smith, 2008 gymnastics bronze medallist, commented: "The Adidas trainers will help to raise crucial funds for athletes in their final preparations for London 2012, and they are a great way of showing your support for GB at the Games."
What's more, anyone who purchases a pair will also be in with a chance of winning tickets to the Games, including the Men's 100m final and an exclusive visit to Team GB's Headquarters.
If you want to ensure you have a piece of London 2012 history whilst also helping British athletes in their pursuit for medals at the Games, you can purchase a pair at the Team 2012 website. The trainers are priced at £149 including postage and packaging.
