The first installment of the Tatton 10K series will be a sell-out, organisers have confirmed. When considering the race’s setting and its high PB potential, this won’t come as a surprise to those who have previously competed in the monthly event.
Sunday’s (14 January) event will see runners from Cheshire and the rest of the country embark on a fast, undulating course at the beautiful Tatton Park. The race takes place each month until October, and while entries for the upcoming event have all been snapped up, registration for the February edition remains open.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s race, Lucy Harfield told runABC North: "The race runs the paths and closed roads of Tatton Park. This chip timed, officially measured course is the perfect opportunity for a personal best in the 10k distance.”
Lucy continued: “We welcome runners of all abilities and all runners will receive a medal, water, flapjack and fruit at the finish, and all event photos are available free on our Facebook page after the event."
You can register for the February race here.
