Taking place on a scenic course through Clumber Park, this weekend's Worksop Halloween half marathon looks likely to be one of its busiest yet with up to 2500 runners expected to turnout. Sunday's race will also be a commemorative one with the Nottionghamshire event celebrating its 30th year.
Organised by Worksop Harriers & AC, the half marathon is viewed as fairly undulating with a total climb of 184m. Starting and finishing on Newgate Street, adjacent to the Town Hall, the course then leads out of town into the National Trust's Clumber Park.
Registrations for the Worksop Halloween half marathon remain open until Friday (26 October) at 7pm. Entries are priced at £15 (or £17 for un-affiliated runners), with a Fun Run also taking place.
