Beat Beethoven 5K For Sport Relief

On Friday 13 March, as part of Sport Relief, the BBC Philharmonic orchestra will play Beethoven’s famous Fifth Symphony live at MediaCityUK in Manchester. You could join hundreds of other people challenging themselves to run 5K and "beat" the music, which lasts between 30 and 35 minutes.

Included in your entry fee is a Sport Relief Beat Beethoven T-shirt, water and post-race goodies. Raise over £200 and receive an exclusive Beat Beethoven Bobble hat.

So, what are you waiting for? Help us take on poverty and injustice, get your kit on and join us for what promises to be a fantastic day. It’s Game On.

Please note:

  • This is not a closed road race, as the course follows the paths and pavements inside the centre of MediaCityUK
  • £10 of the ticket price of each ticket will be donated to Sport Relief; the remainder will cover the costs of the event. So we would encourage all participants to use their place to fundraise for Sport Relief. Please check your event welcome email for details on how to setup your JustGiving page
