Our friends at Robin Brew Sports have recently held their first warm weather marathon camp at the world’s number one sports and activities resort, Club La Santa in Lanzarote. It was such a success they have just confirmed two further weeks. Keep reading to find out how this camp will help your running.

Club La Santa is the world’s number one sports and activities resort with outstanding facilities for running including an on-site 400m track and an abundance of beautiful coastal routes on trails and the road. Robin Brew Sports has been running international training and coaching camps for more than three decades and has a wealth of experience in the organisation and delivery of outstanding coaching.

Whatever your ability level, or experience you will find the Warm Weather Marathon Training Camp a valuable and hugely enjoyable experience and one that is likely to put you on the start line in the shape of your life. With a great coaching team delivering invaluable marathon preparation training, you can be assured of a warm welcome and a highly rewarding and specific programme of activities bespoke for marathon runners preparing for important races.

You will love the organised daily run sessions of varying distances (with aid stations on longer runs over 10km), track sessions, skills and drills sessions, tempo runs and practice races. All begin with a structured pre-run mobility session and finish with a post-run active recovery and stretching session.

In addition, timetabled into the training camp will be yoga and Pilates sessions for runners, functional strength and injury prevention training. The key workshop sessions will ensure your race day performance is optimised with advice on running technique, pre-race and race day nutrition, tapering and pacing.

Every course member will receive a video analysis of their running technique highlighting areas that are most likely to lead to improvements and longer-term injury prevention.
